Minneapolis, MN July 10, 2005 – Columbus IT Partner received the prestigious “Global Partner of the Year Award” from Microsoft Business Solutions at the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference in Minneapolis, MN.

The Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference, July 8th – 10th, 2005 was a three-day global event where Microsoft Partners built alliances, gained valuable business knowledge and exchanged ideas. This once-a-year event brought together more than 6,000 Microsoft Partners who joined to learn about Microsoft's vision, strategy and how they together with Microsoft can deliver higher value to customers and serve them better.

 The “Global Partner of the Year Award” is given by Microsoft to one of the largest MBS Partners, who has the most extensive Global coverage and representation, demonstrates superior achievements in customer satisfaction, and has expertise and capacity to deliver complex ERP and CRM solutions to large International corporations.

 Columbus IT Partner has demonstrated outstanding performance in delivering high quality solutions to customers year after year. Based on all of this Columbus IT Partner was appointed the “Axapta Excellence Award in 2004, Global Partner Award in 2005 and membership in Inner Circle and President Club, 2 years in a row”.

 At the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference it was also announced that Columbus IT Partner is now part of the Global Microsoft Industry Builder Initiative. Columbus IT Partner became one of the first companies that will develop Microsoft Global vertical solutions. Columbus will be responsible for development of a Global Retail solution, which will be included in the standard version of Microsoft Axapta. The Global launch is scheduled for autumn 2005.
