Microsoft Selects Columbus IT as Development Partner

Danish consultancy house and software developers Columbus have been selected by Microsoft as their development partner for the next version of Microsoft Dynamics AX 4.0, previously Microsoft Business Solutions-Axapta. Microsoft opted for Columbus on the basis of the company's extensive presence in the marketplace, in depth knowledge of clients and strong development competencies in Denmark and internationally. Investment by Columbus in the project is justified by the importance of being at the forefront with Microsoft Dynamics AX, the possibility of networking with Microsoft developers and the prospect of influencing the final version.

Columbus Wins Two Microsoft EMEA Customer Awards

Columbus IT announced that they have received Microsoft Corp's annual Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Customer Award for the best ERP projects in EMEA region at the Microsoft Convergence 2006 EMEA conference in Munich, Germany. Microsoft Dynamics AX implementation project at Toyota Motor (Russia) was acknowledged the most innovative and won award in “Excellence in Innovation” nomination. Meanwhile, the Columbus IT project in Latvian company Latvijas Finieris became a winner in “Excellence in Teamwork” nomination

Columbus IT was nominated as Denmark's Best Workplace

For the second year running, Columbus IT has been nominated as Denmark's Best Workplaces, and makes an impressing leap from a 22nd place to a 14th place. Columbus IT is top-ranked in its niche. The Danish international company has worked seriously and focused on creating an attractive work place for the 200+ employees located in Hørning, Aalborg and Brøndby, respectively. It is expected that the basic values behind the HR initiatives also will be incorporated on the international level.
