Microsoft welcomed its partners to the 2007 Microsoft Convergence conference in Copenhagen by awarding ‘The Customer Excellence Award' in twelve different categories.

Columbus IT United Kingdom won two of the prestigious awards namely in Manufacturing Industry Leadership and Distribution Industry Leadership. Columbus IT is a global company dedicated to improving its customers' business and helping them gain competitive advantage in their own marketplace – and at this year's Microsoft Convergence in Copenhagen Columbus IT has been recognized by Microsoft for achieving these goals.

The Microsoft Convergence Customer Excellence Awards recognize, honor and celebrate customers that have achieved outstanding success with their Microsoft solutions as well as Microsoft partners' solutions and over 100 nominations were submitted for these awards. The twelve recipients were formally recognized at Convergence 2007 Copenhagen.

VerticalSoft, a division of Columbus IT, received recognition for its Pinnacle Award for Manufacturing Industry Leadership at Convergence 2007, an annual Microsoft customer conference that recently took place in San Diego.

The Pinnacle Awards, established in 1997, are presented yearly and recognize Microsoft Dynamics customers that have achieved notable accomplishments with their Microsoft Dynamics applications. Microsoft Dynamics customers, partners and team members contributed Pinnacle Award nominations.

The 2007 Pinnacle Awards were presented in 17 categories. Columbus IT was selected for the Pinnacle Award for Manufacturing Industry Leadership because of its innovative use of Microsoft technologies to deliver measurable benefits to its organization and customers.

Best Workplace in Denmark 2007, 21^st place

For the third year running, Columbus IT has been nominated Denmark's Best Workplaces, and once more made it to the top 25 – this year we ranked as nr. 21.  This year the election also has a special list of best IT work places. On this list Columbus IT DK ranked no. 6 – with no other competitor before us.

We are very glad and proud of the impressive result. When we entered top 25 last year, it was important for us to ensure that the ranking would not turn into a pretext for doing nothing. Therefore, we have focused on making Columbus IT an even better place to work. The work continues the coming year.
