Our process - DIAMOND

During the Build phase, we do exactly that: build the solution you need. Based on the Solution Design document from the Analysis and Design Phase, Columbus IT modifies the base solution you will be using, followed by new customizations, integrations, and data conversion.

Working with you, we run extensive tests on the system to make sure it performs to specifications, then write the comprehensive documentation that your employees and our implementation specialists will use going forward.

As a result of the controlled DIAMOND process, we ensure you receive a quality, tested product that makes the most of the underlying technology (for example, Microsoft Dynamics AX or Microsoft Dynamics NAV) as well as our own customizations.

While we work, we'll be creating technical specifications for each aspect of the project. That way, we can show you the exact modifications we'll be making so you can sign off if any changes from the original specifications are needed.

As you can see in the diagram above, during the Build phase we'll be preparing to train your employees at the same time as implementation goes ahead. We'll train your project team members so they can conduct 'train-the-trainer' activities with power users in your company and share the knowledge about your solution in the most efficient way possible - and at the right time.

Once testing is completed, and you have reviewed and signed off on development, we move on to the Implementation Phase.
