Our process - DIAMOND

"To ensure a successful IT implementation, you must be detail-oriented and comprehensive. Our DIAMOND process gives our consultants the tools to do the job right, from scope and business case to training, support, and beyond." -- Michael Gaardboe, founder of Columbus IT and original architect of DIAMOND.

Once Columbus IT has set up your custom implementation within your organization, it's time to go live. In phases, everyone in your company will start using the new system. This can be the most difficult phase in any implementation, but the DIAMOND methodology ensures it's a straightforward process.

At the beginning of the Live phase, we are on site at every one of your customer locations to focus on new users of the system and make sure they're up and running.  Our implementation resources are available to you to provide dedicated technical and functional assistance during the transition.

At the same time, we're also on hand to check how the system is performing under real-world situations. If it's been set out in your contract, we'll analyze usage results over a period of time and tweak your system for the best performance possible.

Once everything's running smoothly, and we've done a live test, we'll put together a detailed project review to show you the challenges and obstacles we've overcome together, any rough spots, and the improvements in efficiency and cost your system will bring.

Finally, we hand over your system's service and support to the Support Desk at Columbus IT, according to your support and service agreements.

Columbus IT is ready to help you on a going-forward basis if you need support or modifications to your implementation.
